Sweet Grace looks like a baby doll in the family heirloom dress that her mom, aunties and cousins have all worn before her.  I can't get enough of that perfectly round face and those pretty baby lips and her precious, pudgy legs...oh so much goodness in one tiny package.

Adam and Laura were a lot of fun to photograph and the setting couldn't have been prettier.  They took so many gorgeous shots but since I don't want to give away their Christmas card photos, I'm just sharing a peek for now!

Little Boy Beau

The Smithsonian Castle garden and a drippy Popsicle proved to be a perfect portrait opportunity with my nephew, Beau.  I can't get enough of those blue-blue eyes!

The air was crisp and the sun shone through the leaves, illuminating the already glowing Dana and her sweet Annaliese, as we captured a few memories in the park.
I can't wait to find out if there is a baby girl or boy in that little pumpkin-bump!

Boy or girl?  We have to wait and see but by the looks of this sweet couple, we can say with certainty that it will be one beautiful baby! Congratulations, Janel and Dave, and thank you for the opportunity to capture this special time in your pre-baby lives!

Hannah's Wedding Day

Nothing was going to get in Hannah's way as she prepared to walk down the aisle to her groom, Casey, on their wedding day. Only problem was figuring out just where that aisle would be! You would never guess what kind of a day Hannah had been through by this picture. Isn't she stunning? After a wild fire broke out dangerously close to the hotel that was to host the ceremony and reception, a mandatory evacuation forced the wedding party to plan a whole new wedding in a matter of hours! The result? An absolutely perfect in every way event that no one will ever forget -least of all Mr. and Mrs. Casey Cotter!

As a military wife with a love for gardening and decorating, I often find myself photographing all the special corners of my home and the plants around it that make it, well, home. I know that all too soon I will be packing up those corners and saying goodbye to those flowers and I so want to remember them.
