Adam and Laura were a lot of fun to photograph and the setting couldn't have been prettier.  They took so many gorgeous shots but since I don't want to give away their Christmas card photos, I'm just sharing a peek for now!

a homecoming

Babies firsts, beautiful flowers, holiday excitement, perfect sunsets, birthday joy -beautiful things to photograph, yes, but a homecoming?  Oh a homecoming it is all those things wrapped up in one moment and then some.  It is joy, anxiety, happiness, fear, relief, excitement, love, faithfulness, tears and arms -everywhere arms reaching, hugging, holding and not letting go.  It is a frenzy of emotions, sights and sounds all in one beautiful moment.  So, yeah, I kind of like taking homecoming pictures. And the shots from the Kaiser family's reunion will forever be among my favorite photos ever.
